the navel of the dreams

by walterdoege

what’s a dream?, who is the author of the dream?, me?…I don’t know…daydreams…nightdreams…the night is a time also for sleep, and dream…the nightdreams may have some meaning…I don’t know…there are various systems of interpretation of the nightdreams…but none encompasses all dream nor all dreams…this traditional expression…the navel of the dream…comes from the psychoanalytic tradition…any dream refuses whole interpretation…a dream is some magic one…like the shakes and beauty of a belly dancer performance at a lovely night…lifting the hips…shoulders…a shimmy motion of beauty…the navel is the central point of that dance…a remimd of a lost…a remind of a spiritual connection…that connection between me and you
